Photographs of the Staten Island Ferry and the New York City Harbor, taken in 2009 while hunting down location shots for a magazine story on sunken treasure. I road the ferry back and forth from lower Manhattan to St.George about a dozen times, taking photos of the passengers and the harbor view, including the iconic Verrazano bridge. Other photos were taken from New York Water Taxi rides; on one trip to the Statue of Liberty, I was instructed to stop taking pictures because it was making the other passengers nervous! When I looked over the crew member’s shoulder, I saw twenty tourists looking at me anxiously.
